The Aqiqah Project is a vital program of Ethika Foundation, rooted in the Islamic tradition of sacrifice at the birth of a child. It provides families with the opportunity to fulfill their religious duty while at the same time supporting those in need across Africa. By turning a sacred act of devotion into a source of relief, we ensure that vulnerable communities benefit from the blessings of Aqiqah.

We coordinate the project from our headquarters in Uganda and work across more than three African countries with the support of international partners across the world.

Each sacrifice is carried out under Islamic values and delivered with fairness and transparency.
